Maggie

I’m Oak Tree’s most enthusiastic foodie and adventure companion, and I am absolutely ready to find my people. I’m five years young, endlessly clever, and I have been told — on more than one occasion — that I am an extremely good girl. I live for walks, training sessions, treats, and the company of humans who appreciate a dog with both brains and personality. Spoiler: that’s a lot of personality.

A little more about me

I won’t pretend I’m not food motivated — I absolutely am, and I’m not ashamed of it. If you have a treat, you have my full and undivided attention. This makes me an absolute joy to train, and I do love someone who enjoys a good training session as much as I do. Mentally stimulating me is the way to my heart (closely followed by my stomach).

I’m equally happy charging through fields or trotting around a neighbourhood — I just want to be out, exploring with you. A secure garden would make me very happy for off-lead zoomies, but I’m adaptable providing my new owner is a committed walker who can match my enthusiasm.

I do need to be your one and only pet — I’m not looking to share the spotlight, and I think that’s fair enough for someone of my calibre. Children over 12 are absolutely fine by me; I just need a calm, settled home where I can settle in at my own pace.
