Adopting an equine

Rehoming an equine from Oak Tree is a hugely rewarding thing to do. Every horse here has their own story and their own character, and our Equine Team takes the time to make sure horse and home are right for each other.

Why rehome rather than buy

We have horses and ponies who would suit very different homes — from companions to ridden ponies with plenty of potential. Whichever you take on, you get their full history, an honest assessment of what they need, and a team who already knows them well.

Every equine here is kept up to date with shoeing, dentistry, worming and vaccinations. And we do not stop when they leave — we are here for continued support and guidance for as long as you have them.

How equine rehoming works

Our Equine Team handles every rehoming personally rather than through an online form, because matching a horse to a home takes a conversation.

Read Equine Rehoming: How it Works below, then email the team with what you are looking for and what you can offer. We aim to respond to every enquiry within 48 hours.

Adoption fees vary depending on the individual equine — the team will talk you through it.
